Why are we decommissioning the preselected shipping protection option?


Shopify’s updated App Requirements (see point 19) no longer allow apps to preselect or automatically add paid items to buyers’ carts. To comply with these new rules, we’ll be retiring the preselected shipping protection feature. We understand this might be an inconvenience, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

How does this affect your store?



Shipping protection is still available! Customers can manually add it during checkout, but it will no longer be preselected for them.
